Is it possible for foreigners to get a loan to buy
a property in Thailand ?
The answer is YES ! You can get the loan from Thai bank
not the developer. Anyway, there are some restrictions
involved with the foreigner qualifications to get loan.

You
have to apply for the loan in the name of Thai spouse.
If your spouse doesnt have any job , income or unemployed
such as housewife. You have to be the guarantor to pay
for a dept monthly installments. |

Thai spouse or family in Thailand [ should have
a marriage registration and use Thai name to apply
for the loan. ] |

Have
a stable job and steady income. |
| 3. |
Have
a job or business in Thailand. If you ve got work
permit , should be more than 1 year. |

Have
lived in Thailand for a long time or plan to live
in a long term. |
| 5. |
Apply
form a loan less than 50 % of the selling price.
If you need more than 50 % such as 60-70 % , you
should have a strong and stable income. |

Pay
for a dept installment in a short term such as 5
years- 10 years. |

you can see that , getting the loan of foreigners to buy
a property in Thailand is possible and the interest rate
is quite low approximately between 2-5 %. However paying
by cash is easier and convenient.. That s why most foreigners
prefer to pay by cash 100 % of the selling price. |
